It is Action Tournaments goal to offer the proper placement of teams within their respective divisions, which provide the closest match to your team’s age and skill level.  Due to age divisions and classifications that vary from state to state and between the US and Canada, it is possible that your team may play teams that are slightly older or younger than those in your home playing area.  Teams will be placed within their division unless all teams are in full agreement. (Example would be: Peewee A playing up in Peewee AA)

 

Start Times:  Tournament start times may be as early as 3:00 pm on Friday and all championship games will be concluded by approximately 7:00 pm on Sunday.  Travel times will be considered when setting game start times when possible.  Generally, younger teams (Mite, Squirt, Peewee) begin play earlier each day and will compete their championship games earlier on Sunday.    Teams must be prepared to begin play 15 minutes ahead of schedule.

-          Tournament fees are non-refundable after acceptance into the tournament by the deposit of either a partial or full payment. 

-          Any team that is not considered paid in full 21 days before the tournament will have the balance of the team fee charged to the provided credit card.

-         All teams must be rostered by their official governing body.  This is a USA Hockey, MAHA sanctioned tournament.

      -    Teams are required to bring their official team roster to each game.

-          As a condition of acceptance, “out of town” team greater than 65 miles from the tournament arena, will be required to stay at an authorized Action Tournament hotel.  A minimum of 20 hotel room nights during the tournament must e utilized. (As an example: 10 rooms for two nights would result in a total of 20 hotel room nights.)

-          Release and waiver:  In consideration of being permitted in, travel with, dine with, officiate in, observe, work for, or in any other manner participate in a Action tournament, the team manager or head coach, on behalf of myself, any family member(s), travel companion(s), personal representative(s), assignees, and team, I release and discharge the tournament promoters, directors, sponsors, all officials, owners and operators of any equipment, facilities, or premises used to conduct the event, from any loss or damage or liability for any injury or accident which may be incurred by any player or team official, family member, travel companion, personal representative and assignee while traveling to and from the tournament and participation within the events festivities.
